2nd meeting of the INNONETS’ project Scientific Board


1The second meeting of the Scientific Board for INNONETS project has been implemented on-line on the 15th September, 2020. The Scientific Managers of the project partners discussed over the organisation of the Cross Border Thematic Living Labs, with a special focus on the cross border working groups.


The 2nd meeting of the Scientific Board has been implemented on-line, through the e-learning platform of the Cross Border Agrifood Innovation Node, the electronic tool of INNONETS project. More information on www.interreginnonets.eu/en/blogs-grid.

 

4th meeting of INNONETS’ Steering Committee


2The 4th meeting of INNONETS’ Steering Committee will be implemented on-line on the 16th September, 2020. The Scientific Managers of the project shall present the project progress to the project managers and the representatives of the Joint Technical Committee as well as the next activities to be implemented until the end of the project.

Cross Border Thematic Living Labs: the Greek Regional Working Groups start their sessions


3The Regional Working Groups of the Cross Border Thematic Living Labs:


Sustainable cities & islands
0-food waste
Innovative Agrifood SMEs

 

start their sessions on the 21st September 2020. The sessions for all the Living Labs shall be completed on the 16th October 2020.

The two Greek Regional working groups of the “Sustainable cities & islands” Cross Border Thematic Living Labs shall propose ways for the valorisation of local agrifood products for healthier diet as well as the circular food economy. The first working group shall study the regional policies for the management of food and shall propose actions and policy improvements. The send working group shall focus on the management of food loses and surplus during the production and in the distribution chain, as well as the valorisation of local agrifood products.

The two Greek Regional working groups of the “0-food waste” Cross Border Thematic Living Labs shall propose solutions concerning the management of municipal and non- municipal biowaste and the reduction of the environmental footprink at a regional and enterpreneurial level.

The two Greek Regional working groups of the “Innovative Agrifood SMEs” Cross Border Thematic Living Labs shall propose innovative production procedures, innovation management, food safety and labeling seperately for the primary and the secondary sector.

The Cross Border Thematic Living Labs aim at the development of the common ground for the cooperation of quadruple helix actors in order to identify innovative practices and procedures that will solve important sectoral challenges and help local agrifood SMEs adopt innovation.
